Light Entertainment Cinematography After deciding that I had no idea what to write for an introduction, I quickly scanned through every shot I had ever taken. Searching for photos that explained what we do, how we do it and where. For some reason when building the town of Busselton they decided that it would be a good idea to build everything out of the roughest bitumen around. I'm glad they did. Skating hard out at rough spots makes skating at good spots easy. While everyone else had marble ledges with marble roll up we had powdery concrete with loose gravel. And were not complaining, it made us see that anything and everything is skateable.

Don't let the heat get you down. Follow this easy step by step tutorial and be a winner too. Your gonna need a bag of ice, a box, two plastic bags and some bevies. Preferably some sort of baller euro beer for the summertime. Just ask juler what's hot and what's not. Double bag that shit son! Two bags = less leakage. Cut your tabs at both ends of the box. If you dont have a box cutter in you pocket at all times a key does the job. Pull the bag handles through the tab slots. You can even tie them for some extra strength. Definitely more thugged out untied though. for real. I recommend you put a little ice in the bottom of the gheski for some base coolness. Since this is my tutorial you had better go on and do it. Carefully place your beer and pour in the remainder of the ice. This will improve your summer ten fold. Pass on this wiz dom to at least three people. Thanks to MC for this little gem. Your welcome.

We had loads of visitors the first summer. Left the shores of England for some cheap thrills. Gypsy campsite, unfortunately I had aids on my arm. Perth and Freo heads Morgan Campbell, Luke Thompson and Jack Pam are behind ‘Staple’, which is a pocket-sized, free, quarterly testament to the skating and creativity currently getting emitted from our West Coast. The majority of pages in the magazine will be devoted to skateboarding and it’s associated atmospheres, but we will also be covering local artists, musicians and photographers. Spent the last week in Malmö staying with perth O.G Peter, here's a snippet of what happened. Pack the bags. Stefan was ready for the mission. Your typical holiday shots Jazzed up. Fuck yeah. Sweden has some serious spots. And winners Frontslider. Stefan is on point. Not much swedish food is available un-tubed. Local tanning salon. Heading for the boozer. "How do you do it?" BBQ with the Swedes. Fixer lord. Joy lord. Posse. Head #1 And it begins. "I don't want to" Wallace & Gromit. Daniel can't do it. But Peter was just warming up. Supposedly these guys invented it, I reckon they did. Henrik was out, better lock up your daughters. Sunset 11, sunrise 4. Checkin' dias I would imagine. Round 2. Stefan invented the side to side. Crooken galore. Peter cant do the side to side. Proper EURO. Guts and glowsticks. Epic Bridge. Stefan. "You cant have any" Jim. The incredible. EURO'S Carnivale. Spot's. This was handmade by Pontus Alv and some of the locals Unfortunately some dickheads put a sledge hammer to it. Pontus' new project is even better though. Get on a plane. Pontus let us have a skate on his lunchbreak, what a legend. After a big lunch it's good to hit the digestive chairs. Then kip. Back on the plane, one more for the road. Big thanks to Peter and crew for an awesome holiday. Major things happening at dias, stay tuned.

Yes so monday was Parklife. Life for one day in a park. Its actualy known as Dias park. I should have got in for free. ANNNNYway. Started off at the Lab for pre game antics. So the Manor BDay was on friday. We made sure we were down early to avoid lines as the opening neight was a bit hectic. Lucky for us no line. Pretty sure we were the first in line. Sadly last night i was informed about what had happened to our good mate Ben Roberts. We hadn't seen Ben for a while now and even though in the back of everyones mind we knew he would just pop up one day this wasn't the story. We knew Ben though skating and partying. Which from what i heard is how most of Perth knew him. Often spotted was Ben ripping Manning park on a weeknight. Or even out partying in the City where he always was in good form. The best times i got to spend with Ben was when he would just come into my work to have a break from Uni. I would just look up and he would be there. Who knows what he was after? I think he just liked having a chat. Browsing though my photo library today i picked out a few photos of Ben showing him having a great time. He always was having fun and was one of the nicest people i was lucky enought to spend some time with. So check out the photos (I stole some aswell) and some vids of Ben skating. IT WAS THE YEAR OF THE DIAS

So here is a brief wrap up of the last year on Dias. some good moments, Some sad, Some we will never forgot and some that we would love to forget. I think we will start somewherr near the begining. The Dias site launch. Hectic night. May have not remembered much but the one of tees didnt lie. Blood beer prodasish holes dirt and scum. Could be in jail for wearing this tee this kid contributed a bit to the year. The Manor opening - This place provieded most of the photos on the site. In return they provided us with some free dinrks on the opening night. Sore head. Free drinks were often a theme of the visuals. This happens a bit. Dean is the boss off these guys. We opened a bar. Got in the paper. Rember the trick tips? There was love too. Cartoons Fat cunts Nakedness. Cool kids Tito gave me inspiration. We learned how to dance. Do drugs. Go on road trips. Ben was around to party. He should come back it would be grand. We met stripes. And neckface These three kept it going even when we turned to adults. Dormat turned 18. To end on a sad note, our good friend Tom Overstone passed just recently. This year of partying is dedicated to Tom and i was luckily enough to take Tom out on his last night. He sure was loving life that night. It could been claimed as one of his best days that he experienced. Rest In Power Tom. So thats a quick wrap up of the year of the dias. So friday decided to be the partying night for the infamous two of The Res Lord and The Dormat. Meet at taka at 7.30 was the word on the street but obviously beforehand myself and Mr Alister had to get semi boozy to deal with what could be the dinner dellema. we got carton delivery on lock Pre game was at Jarens house where my right side of my brain hurt hepas and then i cried for about 30 mins straight. We met up with Petey, Haz bomb, Jazzey, Ressy and DP here. i think thats all. Off to the city were the lord gave this the thumbs up approval. Taka got some bullshit corkage fee now so i knew where we could all go. Dias bar of course and i had the key with me so i opened early. Group shot with add ons yonny, scotty, joe, em zed, zen, dormat, luen and lavelly. We went to the discount sale. Picked up a few each. From ho world we made our way to the Brass monkey. Which is actally pretty dope upstairs. Em zed was scoping some guz at some goose tee launch party. The beer coasters got a bit of travel time and then the whoop arrived. Tito is dead. more po. These dias got deved in their car. But luckily they left me some fun. Joe was on the pimp. New craze. Bumper grilz. Always one step ahead. Spotted some jay el in the ville. Stopped for a beveray. I think i copped hicups about now. Got to the manor where digby informed us that smel was being a stinker. Luxy was there. This was a good thing. The Dirty sanchez team was there. Friday night freak out. Racing a group of stinkers to the line. These chicks actually were stinkers. I think anyway. They just wanted a piece. Of plum pie. Waited in line for a little bit but was OK due to the main man Steeveedee being in appearence and keeping me entertained.. Got in and soon after these crims rocked up. Last week sometime was the world premiere of the Moths new skate visual, No Hat No Play. The night started of with a bit of T-donalds along with a copeeeous amout of beverages due to having to give out money to four governments and then having none for the celebratizing. After this it was off the The Karakoe Bar for the event. Rocked up and the party had obvioulsy already started with the D floor getting smashed. Barry was also in good form being smashed. To bad he had no tricks in the vid. I think. Major props go out the the schnaps for hooking Dias up with these visauls. I got to many restraining orders on cameras cos i smash em all up Here is the infamous Chipp Doggy Dawg with H.A.L main man the Matt Momas Thomas. Ladies were lining up all night for these two hotties. The Spakalisous along side the vid creator Josh Moth Roberts. A bit of folklore action mixed up with a pint sized Hefa. Ahern and potter reppin. Potters part was "bolts". The Dorris had been filmin a fair bit for this vid and was shown well. Morrat also was getin in there but is over east for the commitment. I heard jewy just used trough away footage in the vid. Couldnt even tell. Anyway he was being holy like. Not that that exists or nothing. Terry Kenedy turned white. The Straker Baker along side 1/4 2 2 Mikey GEEE. Luke the filth. Breeny is bailing to Euro land next month. Make sure you get his autograph before then. Maybe even a gobby. They did work. Decided we were VIP into the Big Day Out. The cops didnt agree. They aslo didnt like the roller. Lurked outside the grounds. I own the grounds so i knew i was gonna get in. Some eastern staters had added some visual enhancements for the wandering crowds. Met up with 007 and got on the roof. We were close. And then we were in. Yeh youve all seen pictures from the Baked Demo last year some time but everybody over here has been busy. Either we have been crawling the streets looking for dang dregs or have forgotten to sleep for the last 17 days and have been hiding in the forgotten stairwell waiting to be found. ANNNNYYYWAYYY the day was fucking hot as fuk so i had a master plan to make some punch up as there was some no drinking bullshit at the demo. Yeh pretty wierd where most of them are repping the PD's. So we bought 4 goons some mixer and az bought a litre of vodka. Mixed it all up in the ghetto and started the day of with some breeky juice. The team rocked up and who woiuld you guess to be first in line? Trendy didnt even push in he had taken the day off work and been waiting for hours just to get his NFG (neck face groupie) on. I heard that Frodo is repping baker these days. The Gee gave us a lift out to Mannin where is was showing heat up to 45 degreees of hoodtakular. TK was all amped about some board the neck drew him and was probably half full of punch by now too. He reps the BLDSKL's Dollin couldnt skate so he got punched up with us. One of them Baker cats was some non drinking poof. Baker guy: Yo any water round ere? Bani: Sup drink dis. (hands glass of punch Baker poof: (goes to take sip) awww dis ere got alcohole in ert? Then 'DGB was BBQin" Horse is on some rediculous Zoo York tour and claimed to update here with some demos and probably the most insane horse comitment that will ever go down in history.

dear dias followers its is mr breen once again to take you out of your daily boredom and kill about 5 mins of your time whilst you look at photos of us living it up usally heavily under the influence. in this post dias team member gaz(poof) joins me in sydney on a romantic holiday that involed beer, sprained ankles, sprip clubs, bondi beach, bondi beach and basicly more beach. YER YER!!!!! no idea sydney view was behind us. had to stop lovley from her running work out to flick us. we were both looking at her thinking the same thing. all the ladies will agree gaz man is a way better sight than that sydney bridge in the background me and gaz man took a girl to this restaurnt. she just didnt understand. HINT HINT! bondi beach. i was the talent scout and things were looking good until girls relised we were not bronzed body builders, working on it but...... slowley a carton of beer to celebrate. myslelf and the gaz man well into it. ladies not inpressed about quanity of empty beer bottles around us. carton gone. toilets to far away gaz man resorting to cave man techniques digging a hole!! gaz man hole now in use and he is very satisfied by looks of things. on lookers un satisfied dias sydney tour now over after showing sydney how to rock out. the party on the aeroplane has began!! so many beers later! maybe flying over adeliade or something. air hostess found a few more at our feet two buckets of empty cans taken away from two drunk lords. could only just stand at the landing. first quote of sasha and dave who picked us up "you smeel like a brewery" gaz man replies with "its not even me its breen" sasha replies with "he is not even in the car yet" iam still trying to put my shit in the boot.

Some diry old bastard decided to upgrade there collection of gag factor and left th last season on the side of the road for me to take a photo of. Bummer the boxes were empty. Heard of some event down at 'The Park' with the usual locals. We even got an intro for them going. BVD was there. BRN Moonraker DiGBy Styles for miles. The early bird line up. HMT sighting. Working down freo way is always full of fun. Even though you have to deal with the freo smellies it takes its toll and provided some back action for ya. Working also with the BRN is one of the highlights of the week. He even came to work with stilts on this one time. Obviously he was rocking stilts cos he rocked some off the ground T2B action earlier that morn. Im guessin thats the way he rolls. So i might be out the back checking some emails when i will hear a , YEH MIKEY G YEH. You will all know this noise. Well ill go out the front and yes to my amazement the actual Mayor of Freo will be there. He even gets out of parking fines cos the inspectors know not to fine the Mayor. Repping. Finally came to this. Campsite action with avengnace. Dinner was up. Fire man. Chilled back action was the plan of attact. Ran out of fire wood. Cuts to prove. Went for a pre game adventure. had to be fire wise. This is how we knew it was a good spot. Crossroad sleepout. Stars everywhere. In the sky to. Back to camp for some ZZZZ's Woke up and made tracks to the next Destination. Lanno. Thanks. The kombi only goes 60 max, 70 down hills. Constant line ups behind us with ofter amusing insulting passes. On the hottest day in the world we decided to go to the desert. Double bad idea. I would be devo to. We thought this would lead to something good. Led to more boggy sand. Back track time. Night arose. So some Gusslers lurking went down. No luck. Sand is just as good as water minus the wettness factor. And then packed up to go home. Boring updates are better than others.

Saturday fun City Hottness drinking event included an pleasurable evening at Hyde Park. Local talets were on offer and with the Sunny sun the work day was over and the night was there. Just there.
